This week, I received a gorgeous rug from Annie Selke. Since this is partly a playroom, I wanted a natural, wool rug that would be comfortable. The only issue I was having on my search, was finding the right size. I really wanted the rug to extend almost the full length and width of the room. An 8x10’ was too big and a 6x9’ was too small. But bingo! I was pleasantly surprised to find an array of rugs that could be custom sized! And what’s more, it only took 3 weeks to arrive at my door (custom pieces like this usually take months!).

I selected the Montage Platinum woven wool rug. It’s an ivory color that will go with anything, yet has a fun pattern that keeps it from feeling boring.

So far, it’s been a hit for little feet!

And that’s all I have for you this week. I’m waiting for the wallpaper to arrive so we can get that installed. Fingers crossed it arrives in time!!

Refinish rattan desk (it can’t be sanded obviously so hoping a fresh coat of stain will do the trick)
